Security Operation targets outlaws involved in terrorism, kidnapping, and Drug traffick

Security Operation targets outlaws involved in terrorism, kidnapping, and Drug traffick

Deir Ezzor, SANA-the Internal Security Forces in Deir Ezzor province, in coordination with the Ministry of Defense forces, launched on Monday a comprehensive security operation targeting criminal networks, including individuals involved in terrorism, kidnapping, and the distribution of illicit substances.

In a statement shared by the Ministry of Interior via its Telegram channel, Colonel Dirar al-Shamlan, the head of internal security in Deir Ezzor, explained that the operation commenced in al- Mayadeen in the countryside of the governorate. He emphasized that the initiative was carefully planned, with the timing and location strategically selected. The operation will be carried out in phases to cover all targeted areas.

Colonel al-Shamlan reaffirmed the commitment of the Internal Security Forces to fulfilling their duty until complete security is achieved and the rule of law is upheld. He called on citizens to cooperate and report any suspicious activities, stressing that security is a collective responsibility that requires unified efforts.
