Washington, Jan. 30 (SANA) The US State Department affirmed that the agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) strengthens Syria’s unity, sovereignty and stability, benefiting all Syrians.
“The United States is committed to supporting the implementation of the historic agreement between the Syrian government and the SDF.” The State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs said in a statement on platform X on Friday.
It added: “We will continue working closely with all parties to facilitate a smooth and timely integration process, in close coordination with our regional partners. We stand fully prepared to ensure this phase advances peacefully and effectively, achieving lasting reconciliation and prosperity across the Middle East. We look forward to a brighter future for Syria and the entire region.”
