Sweida, Mar.12 (SANA) Internal Security Forces in Sweida repelled on Thursday attacks by outlaw groups on the village of Mansoura in the western countryside of the province.

Sweida Media Directorate reported that armed outlaw groups violated the ceasefire in the western Sweida countryside, targeting the village of Mansoura with 23mm anti-aircraft guns and heavy machine guns. Internal Security Forces responded to the sources of fire.

In a related incident, armed outlaw groups attempted to infiltrate the village of Rima Hazem in the western Sweida countryside, but Internal Security Forces repelled the attempt.

Violations of the ceasefire and attacks targeting Internal Security Forces deployed in the western countryside of Sweida province are frequent, aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the area.
