General Authority for Land and Sea Ports welcomes U.S. decision to lift sanctions on its affiliated facilities

Damascus, SANA-The General Authority for Land and Sea Ports has welcomed the United States of America’s decision to lift economic sanctions on a number of national facilities associated with the maritime sector and affiliated with the Authority.

The Head of the Authority, Mr. Qutaiba Badawi, stated Saturday: “This step is considered a positive development that contributes to revitalizing the maritime transport sector, enhancing trade movement, and facilitating the flow of goods, which will directly reflect on supporting the national economy and achieving the interests of the Syrian people.”
