Baghdad, SANA-Iraqi National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji stressed the need to boost cooperation with Syria that serves security and stability of the region.
The Iraqi News Agency quoted the media office of the National Security Adviser as saying in a statement today: “Al-Araji received the Chargé d’Affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Syria, Yassin Sharif, as talks dealt with the overall situation in the region, and praised the outcomes of the Baghdad Summit that was held yesterday.”
The statement noted that Al-Araji stressed during the meeting the importance of strengthening communication and bilateral relations between Damascus and Baghdad.
