Damascus, SANA- Defense Minister, Maj. Gen. Murhaf Abu Qasra, met Monday a delegation of Christian clergymen headed by the Greek Orthodox Patriarchal Vicar, Bishop Romanos al hannat .
During the meeting held at the ministry’s building in Damascus, minister Abu Qasra, highlighted the ministry’s efforts in enhancing the army’s role in protecting homeland, achieving civil peace and coexistence.
The meeting also touched on challenges facing the new Syria during the reconstruction process
