Damascus, SANA- Minister of Transport, Dr. Yarub Badr, held talks with a delegation from the Arab Internet And Telecom Union ( ARISPA ) about joint cooperation, the Union’s role in supporting the Ministry’s efforts toward digital transformation, and the importance of artificial intelligence in achieving this goal.
The meeting, which took place at the Ministry headquarters Monday, also covered the upcoming first regional conference set to be held in Damascus on artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship.
Specific topics relating to the transport sector and the participation of Ministry representatives were highlighted.
Minister Badr affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to collaboration with Arab and international organizations, as well as information technology companies, to drive the activation of digital transformation.
