Three civilians martyred, two injured by landmine explosion in Lattakia countryside

Lattakia, SANA-Three civilians were martyred and two others were injured Monday due to the explosion of a landmine from war remnants in a vehicle they were traveling in, in al-Kabina Mountains area of Lattakia eastern countryside.

The Syrian Civil Defense mentioned on its Telegram channel that its teams transported the injured to the nearest hospital and retrieved the bodies of the victims, handing them over to their families in accordance with proper procedures.

War remnants and mines continue to threaten the lives of civilians, causing severe injuries, undermining agricultural and economic activities, and hindering the return of civilians to their homes in vast areas of Syria.
