Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani received a phone call from Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in Lebanese Republic, Abdullah Bou Habib.
Minister Bou Habib affirmed the Lebanese government’s support for the new Syrian government, and congratulated the Syrian people on their victory.
Minister Al-Shaibani stressed the depth of the fraternal relationship and common history between Syrian and Lebanese peoples and the necessity of preserving them in a way that contributes to the interests of both countries.
The two ministers agreed to intensify efforts to enhance stability in the region and maintain its security.
