Cairo, Oct. 1 (SANA) Syrian Minister of Local Administration and Environment Mohammad Anjarani held separate meetings with his counterparts from Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Qatar on the sidelines of the 37th session of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for the Environment in Cairo.
Anjarani met Yemeni Minister of Water and Environment Tawfiq al-Sharjabi, Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen al-Fadley, and Qatari Minister of Environment and Climate Change Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie.
The meetings focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination on environmental issues, exchanging expertise and discussing matters of mutual interest related to environmental protection and addressing climate challenges.
