Riyadh, Aug. 30 (SANA) Saudi Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef al-Dossary said his Syrian counterpart Khaled Zaarour’s visit to Riyadh provided an opportunity to discuss developing joint media work and strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
“During the visit, we witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Broadcasting Authority and its Syrian counterpart to expand cooperation in radio and television and facilitate the exchange of programs and expertise,” al-Dossary said in a post on X.
He described the agreement as a new step toward boosting the media partnership between the two countries and opening broader prospects for joint cooperation.
Zaarour paid an official visit to Saudi Arabia on Sunday, during which he met his Saudi counterpart as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and media cooperation.
