Damascus, July 7 (SANA) Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani held talks with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot in Damascus on Tuesday on the sidelines of French President Emmanuel Macron’s official visit to Syria.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and advancing cooperation across a range of sectors, as the two sides explored ways to deepen Syria-France ties.
The ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest as part of the broader high-level discussions accompanying Macron’s visit.
