Damascus, July 7 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa received French President Emmanuel Macron at the People’s Palace in Damascus on Tuesday.
Macron arrived in Syria on Monday evening on the first visit by a French president since 2009, marking what Syrian officials described as a new phase in Syrian-French relations based on mutual respect and equal partnership.
French President is accompanied by a delegation of investors and representatives of French companies to strengthen economic cooperation.
