Damascus, June 5 (SANA) Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Murhaf Abu Qasra met in Damascus with Mauritanian Ambassador to Syria Taleb Al-Mukhtar Muhammad Al-Mujtaba.
According to a statement published by the Ministry of Defense on its Telegram channel on Friday, the two sides discussed ways to develop relations between the two countries to strengthen cooperation and serve their shared interests.
The meeting comes as part of efforts to enhance Syrian-Mauritanian relations and expand joint Arab cooperation.
