Daraa/Quneitra, June 4 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces shelled on Wednesday evening areas near the village of Saisoun in the western Daraa countryside and the vicinity of al-Mantara Dam in the northern Quneitra countryside with several artillery rounds.
SANA’s correspondent in Daraa reported that Israeli forces fired two artillery shells that landed near Saisoun village.
The correspondent added that an Israeli military force consisting of three vehicles advanced toward Wadi al-Raqad Road in the Yarmouk Basin area, where it stopped and opened machine-gun fire toward agricultural land planted with wheat and barley before withdrawing.
In Quneitra, SANA’s correspondent said Israeli forces also targeted the area surrounding al-Mantara Dam with several artillery shells.
The shelling follows an incident on Monday when an artillery round fired from the occupied Syrian Golan caused an agricultural fire in the village of al-Masritiyah in the western Daraa countryside.
