Geneva, June 3 (SANA) Syrian Minister of Social Affairs and Labour Hind Kabawat held a series of bilateral meetings on Wednesday with her counterparts from Turkey, Lebanon, Sudan and Kenya to discuss ways of strengthening and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 114th Session of the International Labour Conference currently being held in Geneva, Switzerland.
According to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour, discussions focused on exchanging expertise in the fields of labour, social protection and labour market development. The meetings also addressed issues of common interest aimed at supporting the development of social policies.
The 114th Session of the International Labour Conference opened in Geneva on Monday with the participation of 187 member states of the International Labour Organization.
