Quneitra, May 14 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces entered the village of Saida al-Golan in the southern countryside of Quneitra on Thursday and detained a local resident.
SANA’s in the province said an Israeli force consisting of seven military vehicles entered the village before detaining a young man and taking him into occupied territory.
The force also deployed among residential areas, searched several homes and detained a number of passersby.
In northern Quneitra countryside, the reporter added that Israeli forces shelled areas near al-Samdaniyah al-Gharbiyah and the quarries outside the town of Jabata al-Khashab.
On Wednesday, Israeli forces in five military vehicles entered the road linking al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah and Khan Arnabeh in northern Quneitra countryside, searching a factory before withdrawing.
Israel has continued incursions into southern Syria alongside raids, arrests and land bulldozing operations, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its territory, saying measures taken in southern Syria are “null and void” and carry no legal effect.
