Quneitra, May 12 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces infiltrated between Ufaniya village and Khan Arnabeh town in the northern Quneitra countryside on Monday evening.
A SANA correspondent in Quneitra reported that a force comprising several military vehicles and more than 30 troops set up a temporary checkpoint between the two areas, searching passersby before withdrawing—no arrests were reported.
Earlier the same day, Israeli troops advanced into Jubata al-Khashab town in the northern Quneitra countryside, while another force shelled the perimeter of Trinjeh village with more than 10 mortar rounds.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through infiltrations in southern Syria, raids, arrests, land bulldozing, and artillery/mortar shelling.
Syria demands the full Israeli withdrawal from its territories, deems all measures taken in southern Syria null and void under international law, and calls on the global community to deter the occupation and enforce complete pullout.
