Damascus, May 6 (SANA) Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani participated in the Europe Day celebration hosted by the European Union mission in Syria at Damascus University on Wednesday, amidst a wide official and diplomatic presence.
The event, held for the first time in 16 years, was attended by ministers, ambassadors, members of diplomatic missions accredited in Syria and representatives of local institutions and international organizations.
Europe Day is observed annually to promote the principles of partnership and dialogue between Europe and countries around the world.
