The Hague, June 18 (SANA) The National Commission for Transitional Justice, represented by Yasmine al-Mashaan, Director of the Commission’s Reparations Department and co-founder of the “Caesar Families” Association, participated in an event organized by the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) in The Hague, commemorating its 30th anniversary.
The event was held under the title “From Grief to Global Impact: The Transformative Role of Women in Addressing the Global Challenge of Missing Persons.”
The event was also attended by diplomatic and international figures, as well as experts, activists, and families of victims concerned with issues of missing persons, justice, and accountability.
The National Commission for Transitional Justice is a Syrian governmental body tasked with addressing past human rights violations, ensuring accountability, and supporting national reconciliation. The Commission was established in 2025 to contribute to justice and healing in the aftermath of the fall of the deposed regime.
