Istanbul, Apr. 27 (SANA) Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed al-Saleh participated Monday in a panel discussion titled “Enhancing Resilience Through Strengthening Health Infrastructure in Crisis-Affected Areas and the Role of Charitable Institutions,” held on the sidelines of the Muslim Impact Forum 2026 in Istanbul.
The session addressed ways to boost the readiness of health systems in the face of crises and disasters, highlighting the vital role of charitable institutions in bridging gaps and providing sustainable humanitarian support, particularly in the most affected areas.
In his remarks, Minister al-Saleh underscored the importance of developing healthcare infrastructure and strengthening partnerships between government entities, humanitarian organizations and charitable institutions, in a manner that enhances emergency response efficiency and ensures the continuity of health services under all circumstances.
He stressed that reinforcing resilience in crisis-affected regions requires coordinated efforts and long-term strategies aligned with national priorities, aimed at safeguarding public health and supporting recovery and stability.
The Muslim Impact Forum 2026 is a three-day global event that brings together leaders, experts, and philanthropists to discuss how Islamic social finance and humanitarian work can address modern global challenges.
