Damascus Countryside, SANA-The competent authorities in cooperation with the Internal Security Department in the Nabek area, seized on Friday about 3 million narcotic Captagon pills, in addition to 50 kilograms of narcotic hashish.
‘’After careful and continuous follow-up, we carried out a controlled ambush on one of the roads used by this network, which resulted in a clash between the security force and members of the cell, as a result of which the network members were able to escape. Abandoning the car in which they were traveling, and searching it, about 3 million narcotic Captagon pills were seized, in addition to 50 kilograms of Hashish.
The Director of the Narcotics Control Department, Brigadier General Khaled Eid, said In a statement reported by the Ministry of Interior on its Telegram channel.
Brigadier General Eid added that “the necessary report has been organized, legal measures have been taken against those involved, and work is underway to pursue the fugitives’’.
