Quneitra, April 8 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces advanced on Wednesday into villages in the northern countryside of Quneitra in southwestern Syria.
Five Israeli military vehicles moved into the area between Taranja and Ain al-Nouriya villages and set up a checkpoint before withdrawing, SANA’s reporter said.
On Tuesday evening, Israeli forces carried out a similar incursion in the area and shelled agricultural land in southern Quneitra countryside with artillery.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by advancing in southern Syria, carrying out attacks on civilians and conducting land bulldozing operations.
Syria has repeatedly called for the full withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, urging the international community to take responsibility, condemn these actions and compel Israel to withdraw completely from the region.
