Coordination between Syrian emergency teams and UNDOF officers in the Quneitra countryside - SANA

Quneitra, March 20 (SANA) Civil Defense teams from the Syrian Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management responded on Friday to reports of fallen war debris in the village of Ruwaihina, in Quneitra countryside. The incident is a direct result of the ongoing regional hostilities impacting the area.

The Civil Defense announced via Telegram that its units mobilized to the site in close coordination with the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF). Teams established a security perimeter with warning signs, mapped the site’s coordinates, and provided logistical support to UNDOF units during the extraction and neutralization of the hazardous objects to ensure the safety of the local population.

This operation marks the fifth recorded response by the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management this month involving fallen war debris in the Daraa and Quneitra provinces, caused by the ongoing exchange of strikes between Iran and Israel.
