Damascus, March 2 (SANA) Syrian Civil Defense teams responded overnight Monday to five separate incidents involving falling military debris in the southern provinces of Daraa and Quneitra, the organization said.
The incidents come amid ongoing exchanges of strikes between Iran and Israel across the region.
According to a Defense Ministry statement, three of the incidents occurred in the town of Al-Salam in Quneitra province and involved debris from unmanned aerial vehicles. Two others were reported in neighboring Daraa province, one east of Daraa city involving drone remnants, and another in the city of Inkhil involving missile debris.
Civil defense teams inspected the sites and said the damage was limited to property, with no civilian casualties reported.
The ministry urged residents to follow public safety guidelines, including avoiding contact with unfamiliar objects, seeking shelter indoors during explosions, staying away from windows and rooftops, and reporting suspicious objects or fires caused by falling debris.
On Sunday evening, four people, including three children, were injured when missile debris fell in Ein Tarma, a town in the Damascus countryside, amid the broader regional escalation.
