Damascus, Feb. 23 (SANA) – Preparatory work has begun for the second edition of the International Real Estate, Engineering and Construction Exhibition and Conference (IREX 2026), organized by the Technical Network for Business + Events in Syria, and scheduled to take place from August 6 to 8 at the Damascus Fairgrounds.
The event is expected to serve as a platform for presenting real estate projects and investment opportunities, while facilitating partnerships between developers, engineering firms, construction companies and related financial and legal entities.
Organizers said the exhibition will include business meetings and panel discussions focusing on current trends in real estate development and construction, aiming to strengthen direct engagement between investors and market actors.
IREX 2026 is expected to attract local, regional and international participation, including Syrian expatriate investors and foreign visitors, with projects and opportunities presented from multiple countries.
The exhibition will also feature the IREX Awards 2026, recognizing achievements in construction, engineering consultancy, architectural development and real estate investment services.
The first edition of the event was held in Damascus last year with regional and international participation.
