Quneitra, Feb. 11 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces carried out an incursion on Wednesday evening into the village of Oufania in the northern Quneitra countryside.
According to SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra, a force consisting of 15 military vehicles and more than 60 soldiers entered the village, spread throughout its neighborhoods, and closed its entrances. The force also set up a checkpoint and blocked the road linking Khan Arnaba and Oufania with four military vehicles, before later withdrawing from the area.
The incursion coincided with the firing of illumination rounds and two artillery shells by the occupation forces toward the vicinity of Tal al-Ahmar and Ain al-Nourieh in northern Quneitra.
Israel continues its violations of the 1974 disengagement agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, assaults on civilians, raids, arrests, and land bulldozing.
