Sweida, Feb. 11 (SANA) – An aid convoy of 31 trucks carrying 503 tons of flour, along with quantities of diesel fuel and other logistical and food supplies, entered Sweida on Wednesday to support bakeries and help secure basic necessities.
The delivery was coordinated between Sweida Governorate and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, with support from the World Food Programme (WFP).
The assistance is aimed at ensuring the continued operation of local bakeries and strengthening the supply of essential goods to residents.
Last January, a humanitarian convoy loaded with 402 tons of flour entered Sweida city through the al-Matounah crossing in the northern countryside, as part of ongoing efforts to provide basic supplies in the governorate.
