Damascus, Jan. 21 (SANA) The Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday the activation of police stations in the city of Maskanah and the village of al-Maamoura in the eastern Aleppo countryside, as part of efforts to strengthen the presence of security institutions and enhance policing services.
According to the ministry’s Telegram channel, the move is part of a broader plan to rebuild police units, boost their operational capacity, organize civil affairs, monitor police cases, enforce regulations, and improve citizens’ access to essential services.
The step comes days after the Syrian Arab Army recaptured the area from SDF control.
