Homs, SANA – Internal Security Forces (ISF) in Homs province seized on Sunday a motorcycle in Qusayr area in the province’s countryside that was loaded with ammunition boxes prepared for smuggling.
“The ammunition boxes were hidden inside milk barrels as a camouflage measure and were on their way to be smuggled into Lebanon,” the Homs Governorate clarified via its Telegram channel.
The governorate reported, citing the Internal Security Directorate, that the motorcyclist fled the scene, while relevant authorities continue their search and tracking operations to arrest those involved.
Internal Security Forces in Homs seized a few days ago a vehicle loaded with Grad missiles, in addition to various shells and ammunition hidden in Homs’ eastern countryside, and were prepared for smuggling.
