Syria and Jordan discuss cooperation on postal modernization and digital transformation

Officials from the Syrian Post Corporation and the Jordan Post Council held talks in Amman this week to strengthen cooperation in modern postal services, digital transformation, and e-commerce.

The meeting focused on exchanging expertise and exploring joint initiatives aimed at modernizing postal operations in both countries, according to a Syria’s Post Corporation statement shared with SANA.

 Syrian Post Director General Imad al-Din Hamad said Damascus is eager to learn from Jordan’s successful experiences in postal and financial services and embrace new technologies and digital services.

Jordan Post Chairman Sami Kamel al-Daoud, underscored his county’s will to expand collaboration with Syria in the field of postal modernization and broader economic growth

During their visit, the Syrian delegation toured several Jordanian postal facilities and digital transformation projects to review operational practices and technology integration.

The visit is part of Syria’s broader strategy to modernize its postal and financial services by building international partnerships and adopting best practices from successful models abroad.
