Israeli forces arrest two Syrians in southern Quneitra countryside

Quneitra, March 4 (SANA) Israeli forces arrested two residents of the village of Kodna in the southern Quneitra countryside on Wednesday, local residents said.

The residents told a SANA reporter that Israeli forces raided two homes in the village and arrested a young man and a child, who were taken to the occupied territories.
In separate incidents, occupation forces carried out another incursion into the village of Saida al-Golan in the southern Quneitra countryside, while seven military vehicles moved across the Wadi al-Raqqad area in the western Daraa countryside and set up a checkpoint there.

Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, which established a ceasefire line, through incursions into southern Syrian villages, raids on homes, arrests of civilians and bulldozing of land.

Syria reiterates that Israeli forces must withdraw from all occupied Syrian territory, insisting that every action taken by Israel in the south is illegal, void and without effect under international law.
