Ankara, SANA-Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has reiterated his country’s commitment to restoring security and stability in Syria.
According to a statement published by the Turkish presidency on platform X, Erdogan told Russian President Vladimir Putin in a phone call on Friday that the clashes following the withdrawal of Syrian security forces from Sweida pose a threat to the entire region.
Erdogan also affirmed the need for Israel to refrain from violating Syrian sovereignty, noting that Turkey aims to ensure Syria’s stability and security and support its recovery as quickly as possible.
