Jordan affirms commitment to bolstering agricultural cooperation with Syria

Jordan affirms commitment to bolstering agricultural cooperation with Syria


Amman, SANA- Syria and Jordan discussed Wednesday means to boosting cooperation in vital sectors that serve development and stability, on top the agricultural sector.

That came during a meeting between Jordanian Minister of Agriculture Khaled al-Henefat and President of Syrian Agricultural Engineers Syndicate, Mustafa al-Mustafa with the accompanying delegation in Capital Amman.

Al- Henefat highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise between Jordan and Syria in the fields of agricultural institutional work, underlining that the work at Jordanian agricultural sector has become a model to be emulated due to the remarkable development the sector has achieved over the past three years.

In turn, al-Mustafa thanked Jordanian government and Agricultural Engineers Association for their commitment to opening up prospects of cooperation and joint work, stressing that this visit comes a part of boosting partnerships in agricultural projects, technical qualifications, and training.
