Tokyo Dec. 01 (SANA) Japan called on Monday for respect of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity following the recent Israeli strike on the town of Beit Jinn in Damascus countryside.
In a post on X, the Japanese Embassy in Damascus stated “Japan is deeply concerned about the civilian casualties” caused by the recent Israeli attack in Beit Jinn. It also urged “Israel to respect the territorial integrity, national unity, and sovereignty of Syria, in full accordance with international law.”
Last Friday, Israel carried out an attack on Beit Jinn that left 13 people martyred and dozens injured.
