Riyadh, Sept. 4 (SANA) Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal have signed Brazil forward Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal on a four-year contract, the club announced Thursday.
Al-Hilal said its board had completed the transfer of the 25-year-old, bringing an end to Martinelli’s seven-year spell with the English Premier League club.
Martinelli joined Arsenal from Brazilian side Ituano in 2019 and went on to score 62 goals in 278 appearances across all competitions.
The forward was part of Brazil’s squad at the 2026 World Cup, where he scored the winning goal against Japan in the round of 32.
The move adds another high-profile international player to Al-Hilal’s squad as the Saudi club continues to strengthen its attacking options.
