Daegu, Sept. 2 (SANA) Saudi runner Ismail Al-Sabiani won the 400m gold medal at the World Masters Athletics Championships Daegu 2026 in Daegu, Republic of Korea, clocking 46.97 seconds to set a new record, the Saudi Press Agency reported Wednesday.
Specializing in the 400m, Al-Sabiani has represented Saudi Arabia internationally since 2005. His career highlights include 4x400m relay gold at the 2006 Asian Games and 400m gold at the 2008 Asian Junior Athletics Championships.
