London, Aug. 9 (SANA) West Ham United advanced to the second round of the English League Cup after coming from behind to beat Portsmouth 3-1, with Valentín Castellanos scoring twice.
Portsmouth took the lead through Adrian Segecic in the 33rd minute before Castellanos equalized in the 43rd. Jarrod Bowen put West Ham ahead two minutes later, and Castellanos struck again five minutes after the break to seal the victory.
Elsewhere, Birmingham City defeated Swansea City 1-0, while Millwall advanced on penalties after a 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers.
Lincoln City secured their place in the next round with a 2-1 away win over Derby County, while Middlesbrough progressed after beating Wrexham 1-0.
