Antalya, April 17 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa met with President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Nechirvan Barzani and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum to discuss cooperation and regional developments.
The meeting, attended by Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani and Head of General Intelligence Hussein al-Salama, focused on ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination, as well as recent developments in the region.
President al-Sharaa and his accompanying delegation arrived in Türkiye on Thursday to participate in the fifth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The forum is set to open on Friday in the Belek resort area of Antalya under the theme “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties,” bringing together more than 20 heads of state and government alongside a broad international delegation to discuss global crises.
