Latifa al-Droubi Receives Wife of U.S. Central Command Commander in Damascus

Damascus – SANA – Mrs. Latifa al-Droubi, wife of President Ahmad al-Shara’a, received Mrs. Susan Cooper, wife of U.S. Central Command Commander Admiral Brad Cooper, on Friday at the People’s Palace in Damascus.

The meeting focused on humanitarian and social issues of mutual concern, with particular emphasis on the role of women in promoting understanding between peoples. The encounter came as part of Admiral Cooper’s official visit to Syria.
