President Ahmad Al-Sharaa will participate in the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly and the “High-Level Week,” scheduled from September 22 to 30 in New York City.
President al-Sharaa will be accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan Al-Shibani and a high-level diplomatic delegation.
This will be Syria’s first presidential participation since 1967, and its first ever participation in the High-Level Week.
President al-Sharaa and Foreign Minister will take part in numerous meetings and events, in addition to holding bilateral meetings with leaders of states and heads of delegations participating in the UN General Assembly.
