Damascus, Dec. 28 (SANA) Syrian Defense Minister Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra held a phone call Sunday with Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense of Qatar.
The two officials discussed matters of mutual interest, as well as recent developments and updates on regional and international affairs.
Syria-Qatar cooperation represents a key path toward regional stability. Since Syria’s liberation, the two countries have steadily strengthened coordination across political, economic, and development sectors, while also enhancing security cooperation to counter terrorist threats and safeguard Syria’s stability and territorial integrity.
