New York, Sept. 24 (SANA) UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher said Thursday that Syria is on a hopeful path despite the challenges it faces.
“Syria is on a hopeful path, against all odds,” Fletcher said in a post on X, describing the Syrian government’s “No Camps, No Tents” initiative as a model to follow.
In a separate post on X Wednesday, Fletcher said the United Nations was working with the Syrian government on mine clearance to enable more returning Syrians to rebuild their lives safely.
