Damascus, June 22 (SANA) Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, received a phone call on Monday from the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Nawaf Salam, to discuss regional security.
During the call, both sides reviewed the latest regional developments, focusing primarily on ongoing Israeli aggressions against southern Lebanon and their severe repercussions on regional peace. Minister al-Shaibani reaffirmed Syria’s steadfast support for brotherly Lebanon during these challenges.
The two officials also discussed developing bilateral relations and strengthening joint cooperation across various fields to serve the mutual interests of both nations, while reiterating full support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and stability.
