Cairo, May 3 (SANA) Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani held expanded talks on Sunday in Cairo with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, with the participation of Minister of Economy and Industry Nidal al-Shaar and Egypt’s Minister of Industry Khaled Hashem.
The discussions addressed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, in addition to reviewing regional security issues, in a manner that contributes to strengthening the relations between Syria and Egypt.
Earlier in the day, Minister al-Shaibani met with his Egyptian counterpart Abdelatty in the Egyptian capital, where they reviewed prospects for advancing coordination and cooperation across various sectors.
