Damascus, Dec. 8 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa received a congratulatory cable on Monday from the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of the Liberation Day.
The President, also received similar messages from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and from Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court.
Meanwhile, Syrians marked the first anniversary of the country’s liberation from the former regime.
Hundreds of thousands of citizens took to the streets from early morning to celebrate the occasion, expressing their joy and hopes for a future defined by peace, freedom, and prosperity.
