Jordan, Egypt Discuss Efforts to Maintain Gaza Ceasefire

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi held talks Sunday with Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel Aaty to discuss efforts to maintain the Gaza ceasefire.

According to the Jordanian News Agency, the two ministers also discussed, during a phone call, ways to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and to launch the second phase of the ceasefire agreement.

The ceasefire in Gaza, which came into effect on October 10, has been violated multiple times by Israeli forces. Humanitarian aid has also not been delivered in the agreed-upon volume as outlined in the ceasefire agreement.
