President Ahmad al-Sharaa and Libyan PM discuss regional escalation via telephone

Damascus, March 4 (SANA)President Ahmad al-Sharaa received a phone call on Wednesday from the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity in Libya, Mr. Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.

During the call, the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region and the repercussions of the ongoing military escalation. Both sides underscored the urgent necessity of preventing the expansion of the conflict, noting its grave implications for regional and international peace and security.

President al-Sharaa and Prime Minister Dbeibah affirmed the importance of continuous consultation, coordination, and the strengthening of Arab solidarity. They agreed that unified Arab stances are essential to bolstering stability, safeguarding the interests of Arab nations, and countering threats to national sovereignty.
