Washington, May 19 (SANA) Apple’s revamped Siri assistant will reportedly include auto-deleting chat options and expanded privacy settings as the company seeks to strengthen user data protections in its AI services, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported.
According to the report, users will be able to choose whether Siri chat histories are stored for 30 days, one year or indefinitely, and whether conversations continue with previous context or begin as new chats.
The report said Apple relies primarily on synthetic data rather than user conversations to train its AI systems, positioning privacy as a key distinction from rival chatbot platforms.
Apple is expected to unveil the updated Siri platform during its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026, which begins on June 8.
