Occupied Jerusalem, Sept. 03 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces detained 17 Palestinians on Thursday during raids across cities and towns in the occupied West Bank, Palestine, and restricted residents’ movement, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
WAFA said Israeli forces raided al-Doha and Beit Fajjar in the Bethlehem area; Bazariya, Sebastia, Urif, Burin, Asira al-Qibliya and Duma in the Nablus area; Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit; and Zeita, north of Tulkarm.
The forces detained 17 Palestinians during the raids and obstructed the movement of residents, according to WAFA.
Israeli soldiers separately raided neighborhoods in Idhna, north of Hebron, and temporarily detained around 30 Palestinians, the agency reported.
WAFA said soldiers beat several of those detained, leaving them with bruises.
On Wednesday, two Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, while Israeli occupation forces detained 18 Palestinians and demolished homes during raids in several areas of the West Bank.
